AX-I596 | Interfaces | 0412 | Email documents and reports via Gmail Previously, the email button on invoices, confirmations, reports etc. would launch outlook or a similar program but many people stopped using such email clients so documents had to be saved and attached outside of Apex. A new setting has been added to the email interface and with Gmail configured and "Use Settings for All Emails=Yes", Apex now opens it's own editor. It allows the changing of the sender, recipient, body and attachment if necessary. The "From" drop-down menu is populated with all of the addresses found in the property's contact details. This could benefit many of our clients - please remember to configure it wherever you encounter gmail users on Apex. These mails will be sent even if the controller is not open, the load tick must just be on. | N/A |
