DirectPush - ProfitRoom Interface Mapping

1. Introduction
The Channel Interface with ProfitRoom has been re-certified and now utilises the DirectPush interface.
The DirectPush interface is the Nebula framework generic ADS interface that can be used for various 3rd Party channel connections. The existing channels which are certified with ConnectPush will need to first develop and certify the new enhancements made in DirectPush, before they can switch connections.

NebulaCRS version required 2023.1.6126 or higher

Switching Interface Type
  1. Please advise Client Success Team and ProfitRoom should you wish to move properties from the old interface to the new one.
  2. Client is able to run both the ConnectPush - ProfitRoom interface and DirectPush - ProfitRoom interface simultaneously whilst migrating properties over - i.e An existing property can be running on ConnectPush and a migrated property can be running on DirectPush, the same property should not be running on both interfaces.
  3. When moving an individual property, the Property Mappings on the ConnectPush Interface on eRes will need to be removed first and then the new mappings applied for DirectPush.
  4. It is recommended to close out the property before the switch occurs to prevent reservation failures.
  5. Once all properties migration has been completed, please advise HTI support who will disable the ConnectPush interface.

2. Supported Features and Requirements
2.1 Agent Profile
A ProfitRoom agent profile will need to be created in NebulaCRS for reservation delivery

2.2 Source code and/or Origin Code
  1. Source Code: Create a Source Code for ProfitRoom (Mandatory) 
    1. Confirm with ProfitRoom the source code and ensure both systems match
  2. Origin Code: Create an Origin Code for ProfitRoom (Optional)
2.3 Availability
  1. Room Types mapped will send availability
  2. Inventory Closeouts are supported
2.4 Rates
  1. Rates will be sent as per what has been mapped
  2. Interface supports both Unit and Sharing Per Person Rates
  3. Children pricing sent in XML not currently supported in ProfitRoom
  4. Extra adult pricing sent in XML not currently supported in ProfitRoom
2.5 Restrictions
  1. The interface only supports MinLOS restriction, MaxLOS restriction, and Rate closeouts. 
  2. Default interface restriction values set as SetMaxLOS=31 and SetMinLOS=1
2.6 Reservations
  1. Creation of New reservations, Modifications and Cancellation of reservations are supported
  2. Multi itinerary group reservations are passed as separate reservations per itinerary
  3. Deposits can be sent in the Reservation XML and captured as a deposit in NebulaCRS.
  4. For Future Reservations made on the old ConnecPush interface HTI will need to update the PMS confirmation numbers in order for modifications and cancellations to be done. Please inform Client Success Team once the property has migrated so that this can be done.
2.7 Services and Special Requests
  1. Service rates do not upload from NebulaCRS to ProfitRoom.
  2. Service codes and Special Requests codes must match between NebulaCRS and ProfitRoom. This is done by ProfitRoom.
  3. Service codes and special requests which do not exist on NebulaCRS, the error will be logged in the reservation's confidential memo.
  4. Service amounts are overridden on the reservation if the interface setting "override rates" is enabled.
3. Interface Settings and Licensing
HTI will configure the main interface settings for the interface, please create and provide the Agent Profile, Source code and Origin Code (optional) which will be utilised for the connection.

4. Mapping

Once the interface has been created the mappings can be loaded in NebulaCRS (Channels -> Manage). The mapping codes will likely be supplied by the relevant channel onboarding team to the client or accessible via an extranet platform for the client to retrieve.

Warning
All interface configuration and mapping must be done in NebulaCRS under Channels and not in eRes at all.
System Administrators who have access to 'Manage Channels' user right will be able to complete the mappings for the rooms and rates.

4.1 Property
  1. Select the required property from the Hotel drop-down menu
  2. Should the DirectPush interface not appear, select the ‘Refresh’ button to update the list for the chosen property.
  3. Select the DirectPush interface and on the Activation tab click the ‘Activate’ button to enable the connection.
  4. On the Account tab enter in the unique property mapping code in the Account No field. Click ‘Save’ to finalize.
4.2 Rooms and Rates
  1. On the Room & Rate Mappings tab you will need to add the required room type codes and rate code.
    1. Select ‘Add’ to link a new room type, select each one from the Inventory drop-down menu, capture the unique room type mapping code and click ‘Save’ to finalize.
    2. Select ‘Add’ to link a new rate code, select the rate code from the Rate Code drop-down menu, capture the unique rate mapping code and click ‘Save’ to finalize.


4.3 Publish
Click ‘Done’ to finalize the mappings to be published. Navigate to the Publish screen, select the required property and click the ‘Publish’ button to save the mappings.



5. Full Upload Rates and Availability
When publishing the Property under the channel,  this will trigger a rate and availability upload.
If required a full availability and/or rate upload can be triggered by HTI
