Hotelbeds Channel Connection

NebulaCRS Hotelbeds Direct Interface

The Hotelbeds interface is available for direct connection to the Hotelbeds channel from NebulaCRS.
The interface supports availability, rate and restriction uploads along with reservation delivery.

What is required and supported by the interface?

1. Agent Profile:
A Hotelbeds agent profile will need to be created in NebulaCRS for reservation delivery

2. Source Code and/ Origin Code:
  1. Source Code: Create a Source Code for Hotelbeds (Mandatory)
  2. Origin Code: Create an Origin Code for Hotelbeds (Optional)
3. Availability:
  1. The interface requires that rates must first be uploaded successfully in the Hotelbeds extranet before availability can be uploaded (a warning response will be returned otherwise).
4. Rates:
  1. The interface only supports mapping one Rate Code per Hotelbeds contract.
  2. The interface only supports Unit, Single, SharingPP, Extra Adult, Kid 1 and Kid 2 rate values.
5. Restrictions:
  1. The interface only supports MinLOS restriction, MaxLOS restriction, and Rate closeouts.
6. Reservations:
  1.  The interface supports new reservations, modifications and cancellations. It also supports multi room bookings in one message.
  2. The end point for reservation delivery will need to be provided to the Hotelbeds Connectivity team, HTI Support can provide this.
Warning:
All interface configuration and mapping must be done in NebulaCRS under Channels and not in eRes at all.
System Administrators who have access to 'Manage Channels' user right will be able to complete the mappings for channel.

Interface Settings and Licensing

HTI Support will need to load license for Hotelbeds and configure the main interface settings for the channel please create and provide the Agent Profile, Source code and Origin Code (optional) which will be utilised for the connection.

Rooms and Rate Mappings

Once the interface has been created the mappings can be loaded in NebulaCRS (Channels -> Manage).
The mapping codes should be retrieved from Hotelbeds Extranet.
  1. Select the required property from the Hotel dropdown menu
    1. Should the Hotelbeds interface not appear, select the ‘Refresh’ button to update the list for the chosen property.
  2. Select the Hotelbeds interface and on the Activation tab click the ‘Activate’ button to enable the connection.
  3. On the Account tab enter in the unique property mapping code in the Account No field. Click ‘Save’ to finalise. NB!! The mapping code will be provided to the client once the property has been activated on the Hotelbeds Extranet.
  4. On the Room & Rate Mappings tab you will need to add the required room type codes and rate code.
    1. Select ‘Add’ to link a new room type, select each one from the Inventory dropdown menu, capture the unique room type mapping code and click ‘Save’ to finalise.
    2. Each contract has its hotel rooms associated which are composed by the HBG room type code (code) and a HGB characteristic or feature code (characteristic).
    3. (Mapping e.g. <RoomType type="SIMPLE" code="DBT-E10" characteristic="VM-1-E10"> Double or Twin STANDARD SEA FACING), so the  Room type mapping code will be (code="DBT-VM-1") made up of the code and characteristic.
    1. Select ‘Add’ to link a new rate code, select the rate code from the Rate Code dropdown menu, capture the unique rate mapping code and click ‘Save’ to finalize.
    2. The rate code mapping will be the contract code provided on the Hotelbeds portal.


      5. Click ‘Done’ to finalize the mappings to be published. Navigate to the Publish screen, select the required property and click the ‘Publish’ button to save the mappings.



After publishing the channel interface will now display as ‘Active’ for the chosen property:
