HotelHub (FlightCentre) Channel Connection

HotelHub (FlightCentre) Channel Connection

NebulaCRS FlightCentre via HotelHub interface.

The HotelHub interface is available for direct connection to the FlightCentre channel from NebulaCRS.
The interface supports availability, rate and restriction uploads along with reservation delivery.

Terminology
Parent Room/Rate: Only one rate can be specified as the parent e.g. Rack or BAR, the remaining rates should be configured as child rates on HotelHub
Child Room/Rate:  In the case of  below context it does not refer to kids/childrens rates but a linked room/rate on Hotelhub. Children's rates are referred to Kids1 and Kids2

What is required and supported by the interface?

1. Agent Profile:
The FlightCentre standard agent profile will need to be created in NebulaCRS for reservation delivery:
  1. Agent Code: 02309543
  2. Agent Name: Flight Centre Limited
  3. Agent Type: Travel Agent
 Please Note
Only the above agent profile is supported

2. Source Code and/ Origin Code:
  1. Source Code: Create a Source Code for Flight Center (Mandatory)
  2. Origin Code: Create an Origin Code for channel (Optional)
3. Availability:
  1. The interface requires that rates must first be uploaded successfully in the HotelHub extranet before availability can be uploaded (a warning response will be returned otherwise).
  2. Only ‘Parent’ type rooms must be mapped in NebulaCRS. ‘Child’ type rooms derive availability from the linked Parent room type in HotelHub extranet.
4. Rates:
  1. The interface must be configured with the Rate Code Mapping Type set as ‘per Room Type’ mapping as it is specific for the HotelHub connection requirements. See the ‘Interface mapping’ section for more details. eRes/NebulaCRS Version 2023.2.6377 and higher required
  2. The interface only supports Unit, Extra Adult, Kid 1 and Kid 2 rate values
  3. The room configuration setup in the HotelHub extranet determines the amount of guests the unit value sent in the rate upload is for. This can only be set in the HotelHub extranet and not via the interface.
5. Restrictions:
  1. The interface only supports MinLOS restriction, MaxLOS restriction, and Rate closeouts.
  2. If rate closeout is applied to HotelHubs parent rate code then it will apply to child rate codes as well.
  3. Restrictions applied to Hotelhub parent rate will only apply to parent rate and child rate will only apply to child rate.
6. Reservations:
  1.  All reservations will be sent with a standard agent profile (02309543 - Flight Centre Limited). This will need to be created in the client NebulaCRS system otherwise reservations will not save successfully.
  2. Modifications are not supported through the interface. Only new and cancelled reservations will be processed.
  3. All Reservations will download with 'parent' rate code or 'child' rate code as per what has been booked on Hotelhub.

Warning:
All interface configuration and mapping must be done in NebulaCRS under Channels and not in eRes at all.
System Administrators who have access to 'Manage Channels' user right will be able to complete the mappings for the rooms and rates.

Rooms and Rate Mappings

Once the interface has been created the mappings can be loaded in NebulaCRS (Channels -> Manage).
The mapping codes will be supplied by the HotelHub connectivity team, accessible via the HotelHub extranet https://www.fcgphotelhub.com or by using the below URL (Please just change the propertyid value to the propertyid you are using)

NB - The RoomTypeID values returned will be the room-rate combination mappings. Each room type is linked to a single rate code.

For the ‘Parent’ room ID these will be used to map the room type and rate plan code assigned. For the ‘Child’ rooms these will be used to only map the rate plan codes.

      5. Click ‘Done’ to finalise the mappings to be published. Navigate to the Publish screen, select the required property and click the ‘Publish’ button to save the mappings.

      6. If required a full availability and/or rate upload can be triggered by HTI Support

Please Note:
For new HotelHub connections you must first process a full rate upload followed by a full availability upload.
