How do I create a Restriction in NebulaCRS?

In order to create a Restriction in NebulaCRS the below steps need to be followed:
Please Note
Restrictions can no longer be added, edited or deleted in eRes as from version 2019.1. Therefore the below steps need to be followed to ensure the correct procedures take place.
1. Restrictions
Navigate to Revenue -> Restrictions. To add a new Restriction click on the "New" button, thereafter the "add new Restriction" dialogue will be displayed and the below details need to be completed:
  1. Start and End Date: Specify the start and end date of this restriction. The restriction will thus be valid over these dates.
  1. Room Category:  Restrictions may be Room Category specific. This can be specified by selecting the Room Category below the dates. Alternatively leave this field blank and it will apply to all Room Categories at the selected hotels. Please note that the Hotel should be selected first in order to populate the Room Category field.
  1. Restriction Type: Specify the type of Restriction that you are currently building (for example minimum length of stay or promotion), by selecting the type from the drop down list.
  1. Restriction Parameter: Parameter refers to the variable for the Restriction type. The parameter will be different for each type selected. Some parameters only require a number where others only require ticks in the check boxes. Should this be a Promotion restriction a promotion code needs to be entered here for example: PROMO.
  1. Apply Rule on : Apply Rule refers to when (on which days of the week) the Rule should be applied or enforced. The days of the week need to be selected.
  1. Apply Across Properties: Enables the evaluation of Restrictions across all Properties booked per reservation. All itinerary lines are checked to see if the requirement of the Restriction can be met.
  1. Rate Codes: Specify which Rate Codes will be affected. Please also ensure the rate selected is valid.
  1. Hotels: The Restriction may be Hotel specific or it may be valid at all hotels. Select the Hotel/s where the closeout should be applied.
  1. Channels: Restrictions can be Channel specific, select the channels applicable to this restriction. If (for example) the Channel is set to Web then the closeout will only be valid for Web interfaces, meaning the restriction for Channels GDS and CRS will still be open for sale, or unrestricted. Note that if this field is left blank it will apply to all channels.
  1. Source Codes: Indicate which Source codes are to be restricted. If all Source codes are affected, leave the entry on [All].
Once the information has been completed select the "Save" button. The newly created Restriction will now be listed on the Restriction screen.
Please Note
  1. It is important to note that under the "Unpublished" header the restriction status will be displayed as "New".
  1. The newly created Restriction will need to be published to eRes before it will be active, much the same as Rates are published to eRes.
  1. Once the Restriction has been successfully saved (before publishing to eRes) it cannot be edited. Should changes need to be made, the Restriction has to be deleted and recreated.
  1. It is no longer possible to apply two rules at the same time to combine restrictions. This is due to the fact that many OTA's do not support this feature.
2. Publish
  1. To Publish the Restriction navigate to Revenue -> Publish.
  1. Restrictions that have not been published yet will be displayed on the screen as "Unpublished". Select or tick the restriction and select the "Publish" button.
  1. While the restriction is being published a "Refresh" button is available to refresh the screen, the publishing functionality may take a minute or so.
  1. The Restriction will then be published to eRes, please navigate to eRes to ensure the Restriction is indeed present.
