How do I log into SynXis?
HTI will provide login details for SynXis.
- If you are part of a Hotel Group, please contact your Head Office to ensure that a username has not already been created. If access needs to be granted please log a ticket with your relevant Client Success Team.
- On SynXis you will have access to view Reports and view Reservations. Reservations can be found under Manage -> Reservations -> Search Reservations.
1. How to obtain a Password
- HTI will create a Username, Sabre will send an email with a temporary password, please see an example of the email that will be sent along with the login page link below:
"The following is your temporary password: J#4A6c4Tuxxx. If you did not request a reset of your password, please contact your Account Representative immediately."
- When the link has been accessed a screen will be displayed prompting the user to enter their username and temporary password, thereafter click on the "Sign In" button.
- The user will then be directed to a page to enter a password of their choice together with the old temporary password. Please note and follow the password rules that will be displayed on the right-hand side of the page. Next, click on the "Save" button.
- The next page will display the "Required Personal Data" of the user, please review the information displayed and once satisfied the information is correct click on the "Save" button.
- Thereafter security questions will be displayed that needs to be completed please follow the instructions and once entered select the "Save" button.
2. 2-Step Verification
- Sabre also has a 2-Step verification process that enhances the system security, please continue the process by clicking on the "Start Setup" button.
- Next on the "Select how you want to enroll" page select the "Mobile phone" option. This is the preferred and reliable option.
- Thereafter enter the "Device Name" and "Mobile number", please also ensure that the country selected is "South Africa" as this will default to United States. Click on the "Continue" button to receive a Pin via SMS.
- On the next page enter the Pin code received and click on "Continue".
- Next, a success message will be displayed and the user needs to select the "Send SMS Passcode" option as well as the tick to "Remember me for 30 days".
- On the very last screen, the "Login" button will be available for the user to login to SynXis.
