How do I move a reservation to a different Room Type in NebulaPMS?

There are different methods of changing a reservation's room to a different room type.

1. Room Chart

1. Navigate to Reception -> Room Chart. Select the Property where the reservation needs to be moved to another Room Type.

1. To move the reservation from, for example, a Family Room to a Twin Room simply drag and drop the reservation to the new Room Type.

1. A message will be displayed prompting the user to confirm the move select "Yes". 

1. Next the user needs to confirm whether the rates need to be recalculated, should the new Room Type rates need to be applied select "Yes". If "No" is selected the old rates will still apply.
   

Swap rooms on Room Chart

1. Another method to switch Rooms is to do a Room Swap. Please note this method will involve two reservations. 

1. To achieve the swap, drag and drop the reservation over a pre-allocated room number.
   

1. Next a message will be displayed confirming a room swap between the two reservations. OR, give the option to select another room number to allocate. 

1.  To continue with the swap click "Confirm".
   

1. Should the swap be successful a "Success" message will be displayed.

2. Reservation Itinerary

1. Navigate to the reservation which need to be changed to the new room type
   
2. Open the reservation and click on the itinerary tab
   
3. Select the itinerary line that you wish to change
   
4. Click on "Edit"
   
5. Select the new room type from the drop-down
   
6. NebulaPMS will confirm if the rate should change. Select Yes or No
   
7. The Room Type has now been changed

Room type changes for in-house guests should be done on the Room Chart
