How do I reinstate a No-Show or Cancelled reservation?
In order to reinstate a No-Show or Cancelled reservation in Apex please follow the below steps:
1. Reinstate
- To reinstate a No-Show or Cancelled reservation please ensure that the reservation has not been archived by searching for the reservation in the Reservation Lookup.
- To access the Reservation Lookup click on the Speed bar or click on Processing-> Reservations-> Reservation Lookup.
- Once the booking has been allocated please check if there is availability should this reservation be reinstated, by looking at the Availability Chart.
- Select the No-Show or Cancelled status from the status selection window on the right-hand side of the lookup screen.
- Open the reservation and select the "Reinstate" button, please note Supervisor Authorisation is required to perform this action.
- Should there be space available the reservation will be reinstated. Should there be no space available Apex will still reinstate the reservation and change the number of nights to zero, please edit the reservation to the correct dates and room type.
