In order to remove Rate Codes in Apex, the following steps need to be followed:

When adding rates in Apex, the Rate schedule is usually added first, then the Rate season is added as well as the Rate season dates. When removing rates in Apex you will work backwards.

1. Remove the Rate Season Assignment dates first. Very important

1. Navigate to Administration -> Reservation Codes -> Rates -> Rates Season Assignment.
   
2. Select the Rate Season that needs to be removed.
   
3. Select the "Rate Assignment" tab.
   
4. Delete the season/s. Ensure to delete all seasons attached.

Once the Rate seasons have been deleted you can remove the Rate schedule.

Please note, Step Two does not need to be applicable if this is still in use. You will not be able to remove the Rate schedule if it is still assigned to Rate season under the dates.

1. Navigate to Administration -> Reservation Codes -> Rates -> Rates Schedules.
   
2. Select the Rate Schedule that needs to be deleted and then click on delete.
