We've updated how Booking.com reservations are handled in Nebula. Now, you have the option to set it up so that only reservations from Booking.com that include a virtual credit card (VCC) are automatically marked as "Guaranteed." Reservations without a VCC will be saved as "Provisional."
This change specifically applies to the Booking.com-Nebula connection. To activate this, setting Booking.com.Nebula.GuaranteeOnlyVirtualCards needs to change 'Y' (it's 'N' by default).

Added a new "Configure rooms" option directly within the itinerary flow. - Users with the right to manage email templates will only be able to manage templates that their User Group has been assigned to.

Upon the initial upgrade, existing templates will be automatically assigned to the User Group of the user who last edited that template.

New user rights added for precise control over access to key modules: Nebula CRS, Call Center, and Content Manager.
Users can be restricted and can only from log into specific modules based on their assigned user groups. When access is denied, users will see an "Module Access Denied" message.
Implemented user action history logging for logins to these products, providing an audit trail of who accessed which module and when.
Important Note for Upgrade: Upon the initial upgrade, these new rights will be automatically assigned to all existing user groups to ensure that current users retain their access without disruption. These rights can be adjusted as needed to fit your security policies.

A new "Notification E-mail" field has been added to the property page. This field is now used by Nebula for sending Property Notification emails. It supports multiple email addresses, separated by semicolons or commas.
Flexible "From" Address Hierarchy
A new setting, "Use Property E-mail as From Address," is now available on all template types. When this setting is ticked, it influences the "From" address according to the following hierarchy:
- Template "From Address": If an email address is explicitly specified in the "From Address" field of the template, this will always be used first.
- Property Email Address: If the template's "From Address" is blank and the "Use Property E-mail as From Address" setting is ticked, the email address from the property's main "Email" field will be used. (If there are multiple properties on a reservation, the email address of the first arriving property will be used as the "From" address.)
- Default DB Setting: If neither of the above conditions is met (i.e., the template "From Address" is blank, and either "Use Property E-mail as From Address" is not ticked or the property has no email address), the system will default to the Mail.From database setting.

We've implemented several significant user flow improvements and resolved key issues in BookNow 2.0 to provide a more intuitive and seamless booking experience.

- Price Button Renamed & Total Stay Display: The "Price" button has been renamed to "Book." Above it, bookers will now see the total price clearly labeled as "Total Stay."
- Flexible Booking Flow: Clicking the "Book" button no longer immediately directs bookers to guest details. Instead, bookers remain on the property page, allowing them to easily add more rooms and configure them before proceeding.
- Streamlined Itinerary Start: The initial display of "1 room" at the beginning of the itinerary has been removed. The itinerary now simply displays the dates and guest count.
- Adjustable Itinerary Box: Within the itinerary box, guests can now adjust dates and room types directly.
- Itinerary "Cart" Count: A count number of itineraries is now displayed in the "cart," making it easier to track multiple selections.
- "Modify Booking" Renamed: The "Make changes to your booking" option has been renamed to "Modify Booking."
Mobile Usability and Error Handling Improvements:
- Enhanced Itinerary Scrolling (Mobile): For bookings with multiple itineraries on mobile devices, bookers can now smoothly scroll to view and edit all units, resolving previous issues where content scrolled behind.
- Clearer "No Availability" Messaging: When attempting to book more rooms than available, BookNow provides a more intuitive indication, such as disabling or graying out the "Book" button, making it immediately clear when additional rooms cannot be booked.
Cosmetic Refinements:
- The number of itineraries is now displayed as a clear number above "My Itinerary."
- "More details," which expands the itinerary block. Conversely, "Less details" collapses it.

- This is applied at the reservation level. Rates will continue to be quoted or overridden excluding the tourism levy.
- Distribution amounts are not considered in the calculation.
- The tourism levy is only applied during the Reserve and Save actions.
- The implementation is conditional—only hotels with a tourism levy defined will use the new logic, ensuring no impact on existing customers who do not use this feature.
- The eRes platform and interfaces does not support this functionality and will disregard any tourism levy amounts, reverting reservation totals accordingly.
- Supported Countries: South Africa, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Zambia, and Tanzania.
