AlloyDB to replace our current Microsoft SQL Server database

We are proud to announce the most significant milestone in our product history: NebulaPOS is migrating to a fully cloud-native environment powered by Google Cloud’s AlloyDB.
This architecture represents a fundamental shift in how our system handles data.
By leveraging AlloyDB, we are moving away from traditional database constraints to a model that offers intelligent, horizontal scaling. This means NebulaPOS now automatically separates high-demand computational workloads from everyday transactions.

What this means for your business:
  1. Zero-Lag Operations: Google’s managed infrastructure dynamically powers up additional database resources during your busiest hours, ensuring that servers never experience slowdowns, even during peak service rushes.
  2. Isolated Reporting: We have moved analytics to a dedicated "read-only" node. You can now run heavy, complex reports in the middle of service without impacting the speed of your Point of Sale operations.
  3. Next-Gen AI Integration: By plugging Artificial Intelligence directly into the database layer, we are unlocking powerful new capabilities.
  4. Users will soon have access to real-time, AI-driven reporting insights and intelligent "help tips" that learn from your specific operational data.
