What is PlusPoint Hyperspace?

What is PlusPoint Hyperspace?

A facility was added to move clients to a future date without having to run multiple End of Days and Month Ends to get there.
This is only available in PlusPoint version 1.95 revision 0511 and above.

Only HTI will have access to this newly added feature, please advise your Client Success Team what the system date should be as well as the store financial period and year.

Please ensure the following is completed prior to HTI running this utility:
  1. Close all open invoices/tables. 
  2. Complete Orders. 
  3. Complete Issues.
  4. Complete Deliveries.
  5. Import Sales Batches.
  6. Complete Reductions.
  7. Do Closing Stock.
  8. Month end must be run.The stock figures will be rolled over. eg Bar store had an opening value 99.43 in period 2, this will be the opening value for period 4. All stores are rolled to the same period and year, it cannot be selective.
The utility will do the following:
  1. Check that the Point Of Sale Tables are closed.
  2. Check that the Stock is Closed for the current month.
  3. Back-up the database.
  4. Move the Point Of Sale System Date Forward.
  5. Move the Stock Date Forward.
  6. Record the System Log.
