PP-I193 | Stock | 0111 | Prevent .ERR files from being used as .WTS Several calls have been logged for errors displayed when sales batch files are renamed in order to re import them. Re importing of sales batches in this way can cause problems with stock figures so rather than displaying an error, when .ERR files are renamed to .WTS and processing is attempted, the file will now be removed and no error will be displayed. Reminder: When a sales batch is processed and there are items with errors (such as no item to store association), the valid items are still processed and saved as completed. Processed items are marked with the word DONE in the completed file which is also an attempt to try and prevent batches being imported twice. Problem items are saved in a bad batch file so that the items can be checked, issues can be fixed and the batch can be reinstated to be processed again. Error log files are created so that the details of the errors that occurred on the bad items can be seen. If, for some reason, a sales batch was deleted or went missing, sales batches can be recreated through the database utility. | N/A |
