Reports missing from Apex RepView
Reports may be missing from Apex RepView due to one the following reasons:
- The incorrect date is selected.
- Reports have been archived/packed.
- Incorrect Apex RepView shortcut location has been added to the desktop.
- Apex End of Day has not been completed or run.
- Network path error during the End of Day and the Reports did not write to the reports folder.
1. The incorrect date is selected
- Check the correct date, month and year is displayed at the top of the screen.
2. Reports have been archived/packed
- Navigate to the previous month/s and see if the reports are present.
- If the reports are there go back to the current month and at the bottom left corner click "Un-Pack Archive".
- The reports will now have returned.
3. Incorrect Apex RepView shortcut location has been added to the desktop
- If all reports are blank and they have not been archived, check the shortcut location.
- Navigate to the desktop, right-click on Apex RepView shortcut and click "Open file location".
- if the file location opens up in the main Apex folder, this is incorrect. Delete the shortcut, to re-add the shortcut see below steps.
4. Shortcut
In order to add the Apex RepView Shortcut to your desktop follow the below steps:
- Navigate to the desktop.
- Right Click on the Apex Shortcut.
- Select "Open File Location".
- Look for the Reports Folder.
- Open the Reports folder, look for Apex RepView Icon.
- Right Click on Apex RepView Icon -> Send to -> Desktop (create shortcut).
- The shortcut will now be on the desktop.
If the Apex RepView icon is missing from the Reports folder, go back to the main Apex folder and copy the Apex RepView Icon from the main folder and paste in the Reports folder.
5. Apex End of Day has not been completed
- Log into Apex.
- Check that the System date at the bottom of Apex window is correct.
- Should the System date be behind: proceed to Processing -> Audit -> End of Day and run end of day.
- Go to the Availability screen, is there a message that End of Day did not complete?
- Navigate to Processing -> Audit -> End of Day.
- The End of Day screen will display, if End of Day did not complete the system will prompt you to complete the End of Day process.
6. Network path error during End of Day and reports did not write to the reports folder
- The report path may be incorrect, there is insufficient permissions to write to the folder across the network or there is an issue with the network cabling/or wifi signal to the server. Please see the Report path is invalid article.
- HTI will need to recreate the reports for the day which is missing.
- Please log a ticket with your Client Success Team to restore your reports from the previous night. The Client Success Agent will need access to your server or workstation to retrieve a copy of your Apex database.
