  1. Process to connect with Tourplan


  • Contact agent from the available list (e.g New Frontiers) to start the process of connecting for live availability and reservation delivery. An STO agreement will need to be signed with the agent.

  • Please ensure the Agent and/or Company profiles have been created and applicable rates and contracts have been added on NebulaONE. This will be needed by the HTI Connectivity Team.

  • Once you have signed up with the agent they will contact the HTI Connectivity Team to assist and provide the Channel Connectivity Form. This form will be completed after the channel creation and mapping sections to follow have been completed.

Agency/Company Mappings

Use Agent and Company Mappings when individual agents or companies have their own negotiated or contracted rates.

When an agent or company makes a reservation through Tourplan, their corresponding profile should be mapped to the matching agent or company record in NebulaONE. This ensures that:

  • The correct agent or company profile is automatically assigned to the reservation.

  • The applicable negotiated or contracted rate plan/s are applied to the booking.

  • Reservations are attributed to the correct agent or company for reporting and commission purposes.

  • Rate integrity is maintained by ensuring each booking receives the rates agreed for that specific agent or company.

Example:
If ABC Travel has a contracted rate plan STO20 and is mapped within Tourplan, any reservation received from ABC Travel will automatically be associated with the ABC Travel profile and the STO20 rate plan will be applied to the booking.


  1. Creating Agent/Company Profiles

Travel Agencies

  • In NebulaONE navigate to Travel Agencies

  • Check if the Profile already exists if not then create it

  • Click on Create Button or Look up the profile from the Buzz Directory



  • Complete the applicable fields and then Select on Create


Companies

  • In NebulaONE navigate to Companies

  • Check if the Profile already exists if not then create it

  • Click on Create Button or Look up the profile from the Buzz Directory



  • Complete the applicable fields and then Select on Create


  1. Rate Contracts

  • In NebulaONE navigate to Contracts.

  • Check if contract already exists, if not then select Create


  • Complete the applicable fields and then Select on Create. * Only rate plans which are Contract type require a contract to be created.



  1. Profile Mapping

  • In NebulaONE navigate to Agency/Company Mappings.

  • To create a new Agent or Company mapping select the Create button.



  • Click in the Channel dropdown, search and select the required channel.



  • Click in the Agency/Company dropdown, search and select the required profile.



  • Click in the Mapping block and type in a unique Profile Mapping value code. The code used will be case sensitive. Please only use uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and numbers for this code value and avoid special characters.



  • Click in the Create button to save and finalize.



Channel Setup

  1. Channel Creation


  • In NebulaONE navigate to Channels.

  • Search for the Channel Name and click on the corresponding Channel tile.



  • The Channel will be disabled by default.



  • Activate the Channel using the enable/disable toggle button.



  • Click the Create button to save and finalize.



  • A green success message will appear informing you that the Channel creation was successful.



  1. Channel Mapping

  • The Channel will now be shown Enabled list but with a Paused status until the required room and rate mappings have been finalised. Once ready the channel can be unpaused and ready to 



  • Select the Channel and the Mapping screen will be displayed. Make note of the unique Property Mapping value that will be supplied to the Agent. 



  • The Mapping screen will display a list of active Room Type/Rate Plans that can be enabled for this Channel.



  • Activate the appropriate Room Type/Rate Plan using the enable/disable toggle button.



  • After toggling the required Room Type/Rate Plan mappings click the Update button to save and finalize.



  • A green success message will appear informing you that the Channel update was successful.




  • Re-select the Channel to view the unique Rate Plan and Room Type Mapping values on the Mapping screen. Each of these will be supplied to the Agent for the Channel connection process.


  1. Channel Activation

  • Once mapping is complete, the connection must be activated. Select the Channel on the Channels Screen.



  • On the Channel mapping screen select the Paused button to switch the Channel status to Active



  • Select the Update button to finalize and save




Adding a New Room and/or Rate Plan on the Channel


Whenever a new Room or Rate Plan is created on the Channel, it must be mapped in the Channel Mapping module. This ensures accurate inventory and rate management and seamless delivery of bookings to NebulaONE.


Mapping a New Room Type/Rate Plan
  • Go to Channels → click on Channel Name

  • NEW: Find the Room Type/ Rate Plan and the click on enable.

  • Click on Update

  • Select the channel again, to retrieve the Room and/or rate plan mapping codes, copy these codes and provide them to the agent/s to map on Tourplan.
