Why are my Rates not appearing for Agents in eRes?

In order to ensure that Agent Rates display when reservations are made the below needs to be checked:
1. Contracts
Agents usually receive negotiated rates that are not available to the general public or other agents. In order to make these "Contracted Rates" available to the agents we need to load contracts against the Agent Profiles.

When the relevant Contracted rate is not available on eRes, the reason for this is usually that the contract does not exist or has expired.

To add Contracts to Agent Profiles navigate to Tools -> System Administration -> Agents -> Agents. Highlight the Agent for which to load contracts. Please ensure that you have highlighted the correct Agent, and select the "Contracts" button on the top panel of the Agents module.
  1. Property: Select the Properties where this contract should have an effect. Alternatively, leave the "All" description in place to make the contract effective at all Properties contained in the system.
  1. Room Category: When a contract is valid for all Room Categories, leave the Room Category field blank. If left blank the contract will be effective for all Room Categories. To select a specific Room Category, place the cursor in the field, click once and press the F4 key to activate the "Search for Room Categories" screen. Select the appropriate category and click "OK".
  1. Start Date: Specify the Contract start date (dd/mm/yy).
  1. End Date: Specify the Contract end date (dd/mm/yy).
  1. Rate Code: Select the Rate Code contracted to the Agent by clicking in the field once, highlight the current entry and press backspace or delete followed by F4. This actions displays the "Search for Rate Code" screen where you will choose the Rate to be loaded on this contract.
  1. Currency: Assign a currency to the current Contract. Click in the field and press F4 to activate the "Search for Currency" screen. Make your selection and select "OK". Alternatively, type the currency code in the field and press enter. If your input matches a built currency code, it will be populated in the field.
  1. Commissionable: Indicate here whether this Rate Code is commissionable.
  1. Commission: If commissionable, indicate the commission percentage here for example: 20.
  1. Last Room Availability:  If ticked, the last rooms available in Inventory will be honored at the Rate specified on the Agent contract, irrespective of any yielding parameters (Restrictions, Closeouts or Opportunity Cost) defined.
  1. Levy Included: Is there a levy included in this contracted rate, if so select the box.
  1. Fixed: Not used.
2. Reports
In order to view whether the Contracted rates are still valid or which rate is contracted to which Agent the below report can be viewed.
  1. To view Reports access eRes and navigate to Reports -> Reports -> Listings -> Agent Listings -> Agent Contracts and Rate Code Report.
  1. Here the user can define the search criteria by selecting to include or exclude expired contracts, include or exclude the Agent profile detail, and lastly include or exclude Agents with no Contracts in place.
