Grs. Amount or Gross Amount Total
  1. The Gross Amount is the total charges and adjustments done.
  2. The amount is inclusive of  Tax amounts.

Day Total
  1. The Day total excludes the adjustments that were made.
  2. These adjustments can either be from the distribution of inclusive amounts, revenue adjustment by a user or interface postings from the point of sale.
  3. This figure would have been the figure for the day if no adjustments were done.




Tip
When comparing the Department Audit Report with the Revenue Audit Report, the gross total is utilised. If the Revenue Report reports on the Net Amount, then deduct the Tax from the Gross amount to get the same figure as the Revenue Report
