How to Add a Logo on Apex

The logo is typically added during the initial program installation. To add a logo:

  1. Click on the designated button.
  2. A screen will appear, listing folders and .bmp files in the Apex directory (specifically, under the Apex folder on the server).
  3. Click on the logo.bmp file and select the "open" button.
  4. Once selected, the logo will appear on the screen and will be displayed on the program when a user logs in. An example shows the "Canary Lodge logo".

Important Considerations for Logos:

  • Image Size: Users are warned to consider the image size before using a .bmp document for the logo.
  • File Format: The logo file must be in .bmp format.

Removing a Logo: To remove an existing logo, click on the "Remove picture" button, and the logo will be removed from the screen.

Logos on Templates: Logos can also be added or changed for display on various template print formats, such as confirmation letters, folios, registration cards, and statements. This is done by clicking the "Add picture" button under the "Logos Tab" within the Property Codes settings and searching for the .bmp file, which can be saved anywhere on the network. To remove a logo from these templates, click the "Delete picture" button.
